It is difficult to pinpoint one specific mission at AquaCats mobile swim school, as there are endless. The most significant, and the one most of you are here for- is to teach swim.
71% of the earth is composed of water. It is very unlikely to not come across it at one point in time.
Our swim coaches and lifeguards have set out to create an environment surrounded by safety, inspiration, and fun in the comfort of your own home.
A place that breeds the idea “If I can do this, I can do anything.”
Learning to ride a bike is not a necessity, but is inherent in the ideals of "learning & growing." While we prioritize this, we neglect learning to swim. We correlate it with a luxury instead of a necessity. We're going to change this.
Drowning is the number one cause of death in Florida for kids under five. In the U.S alone, drowning takes an average of 3,500-4,000 lives per year. That is an average of 10 drownings a day, two of them involving individuals under the age of 14.
This is a problem that has had little solution for way too long.
It has become apparent of AquaCats purpose here on Earth:
To save as many lives as we can.
Join us in accomplishing this change.
Through recognizing each person possess their own set of strengths and weaknesses, here at AquaCats we are dedicated to creating a unique curriculum to fit the needs of each and every individual.
...And to have the most fun ever.
We believe our education system needs to be strengthen by taking the time to learn our students individual learning styles. We must first understand, appreciate, and cater to these differences.
While students obtain learning differences, educators obtain teaching differences. We believe at our school that students can benefit from a teacher that fits their needs better than another could. Not because the teacher is better but simply because they are different. Why we take the time to match each student with their appropriate teacher.
Lastly, we strive to change the narrative from learning being an obligation to learning being fun, exciting, and something to look forward to.
And as a result: we can expect confidence, optimism, and success.
With there being a limited amount of hours in a day, I realized there is not enough for one person to recognize and create a successful change. Introducing a school, community, home of leading learners has not only sparked the said "change" but has transformed it.
As a result we can expect this change to breed more changes. New goals for this school are being written down everyday. Join us in achieving yours and creating new ones together.
Together, nothing is impossible, and we will teach our students just that.
